Glimmergie
Taking Glimmer and Energy,
24 x 30 deep-edge mixed media on canvas.
A celestial force erupting from a charcoal-dark nebula, Glimmergie captures the precise moment hope transforms from a shadow into a brilliant, tactile reality. The piece is a topography of resilience, built from fibrous paper pulp and saturated copper pigment that catches the light like buried treasure finally uncovered.
The central starburst pulses with orange-red intensity, its surface sealed beneath a crystal clear glaze. Within this layer, an unexpected and beautiful distortion has occurred, a spontaneous pattern of fractures where the material itself seems to have shifted under pressure, perfectly echoing the unpredictable nature of breakthrough.
This is a meditation on energy made manifest. From the core, delicate veins of hand- painted gold and silver leaf strike outwards, lide currents of pure gratitude pushing through resistance. It is the visual equivalent of finding your footing after the fall, a tangible reflection of using light as a weapon against the dark.
Glimmergie projects an active, transformative energy, reminding us that even the darkest nights must yield to the inevitable dawn.
